So, where did this song idea come from ?

Well, it's very simple! One day, Olivier was out with friends at restaurant, and someone asked "Olivier, why haven't you created a song for your espadrilles yet ?". This sparked a creative flow among the group, leading them to write a song that would represent Payote. And they did not stop there : they wanted to infuse the music with a sense of Southern joy. That's why the song they created celebrates the beautiful region where Olivier is from. It is marked by the spirit of the stunning Mount Canigó, a famous mountain loved by the locals.

The founder of the brand is very talented and was very excited to embark on the adventure of crafting a summer song.

"Do you sing?" asked Olivier.

In early February this year, eager to hear his carefully crafted lyrics come to life, Olivier reached out for talent on social media. He shared a story on Instagram and Facebook with a pretty clear message : "Looking for a singer for a new summer ad !". By the end of the day, he had received tons of proposals from singers from all over France ! This enthusiastic response really hit home for him as the lyrics of the song reflect his strong love for his region.
