When choosing the future companion of our feet, it is essential to opt for a model with careful manufacturing. So how to spot it? The origin of the product is obviously a key factor. All our women's espadrille slippers are made in France to offer you the best of French standards. And what exactly is the best? For us, it is a product of which we control all stages of manufacturing.
Working closely with a family and local workshop allows us to benefit from all its ancestral expertise. From cutting the canvas, through gluing to sewing the labels, all steps are carried out with care by specialized craftsmen. You should know that our French women's slippers go through more than 15 very precise manufacturing stages until they are finished. The partner workshop with which we work is located in Mauléon, in the heart of the Basque Country, and it employs no less than 12 artisan seamstresses to carry out all the manufacturing of our women's fur-lined espadrilles .
Good stuff in the air
In addition to the place of manufacture, it is essential to pay attention to the materials used and the finishes of your slippers. Good materials, chosen with discernment, will allow the slippers to be durable and as least harmful as possible to the environment. The well-being of everyone is also one of our priorities.
For our models, we have therefore selected fabrics that are very respectful of the skin : fleece fabric, wool fabric and polyester to guarantee you a soft and warm slipper. For the finish, we chose a modern nylon thread seam that will hold your feet well. In addition, the insole is made of natural jute and the outsole is made of recycled rubber , giving you a non-slip sole so you can stroll around in complete safety. These are all elements that allow us to offer you a quality product that supports small local workshops while keeping your feet warm.
Comfort for my feet
The key to good women's slippers made in France ? One of the key elements is obviously comfort. Therefore, we opted for an interior lined with fleece fabric. This comforting lining is ultra-soft and guarantees you great comfort when putting on your pair of fur-lined espadrilles. If you prefer a very cocooning and thicker padding, we also offer soft fabric on our pair of Christmas slippers, a very warm finish which will provide you with maximum comfort.
Why use fleece fabric for our slippers? We know very well that sheep or wool are very popular materials for slippers. However, they do not correspond at all to our brand values. We have chosen a 100% vegan fabric to fill our slippers in order to respect animal welfare and guarantee you a product made without cruelty. It was very important for us to offer you a collection of slippers made with respect for animals while keeping the comforting side of traditional slippers.
